The family of an 18-year-old who was murdered in Susquehanna Township earlier this month is turning to the community for support in wake of the tragic loss.
On June 4, Susquehanna Township High School senior Tyron Perrin was found shot to death at the Whisperwood Apartment complex on 3600 block of Brookridge Terrace days before he was set to graduate high school. A 13-year-old has since been charged with the teen's murder.A GoFundMe titled "Support in Laying Tyron Perrin to Rest" was created Saturday by Perrin's mother, Mary James, according to the fundraiser.
In the fundraiser, James described her son as a "well-mannered, mild spirited person" and added that her family is devastated by the loss: This has been devastating to my family. No parent should have to bury their child, and while making funeral arrangements for my oldest son is by far the hardest thing I've had to do, I am asking for assistance in doing so in a most dignified manner.
