Gas prices rising in Alabama ahead of Memorial Day

Alabama's average price sits at $3.26, which is lower than the national average.

Some drivers are digging a little deeper into their pockets to fill up their cars over the next few weeks.MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Drivers will dig deeper into their pockets to fill up their cars over the next few weeks.

“This is just sort of that time of year when our gas prices start going up because our demand is going up,” said Clay Ingram, marketing manager for AAA. Alabama averages $3.26 per gallon, nearly $0.10 higher than March, but drivers said they can’t argue with that.
