Temperatures will take a tumble by the end of the weekend thanks to our next best chance of rain
MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Stop me if you have heard this at all during the workweek: it’s a mild start to our day, but also cloudy. The pattern of increased moisture and lots of warm temperature continues into our Thursday.
After any fog fades, we are still left with a decent amount of cloud cover... that combine with a southerly breeze will keep our temperatures warm and our chance for a passing shower elevated. Mainly towns stay dry today and tomorrow, but a very low chance for a random rain shower and thunderstorms does exist at just about any time between Thursday and Saturday.
Temperatures will continue to be quite warm in the low and mid 80s through Saturday, and some towns even climb into the upper 80s Friday! Cooler air arrives by the second half of the weekend with highs back in the 70s Sunday. Those cooler than normal highs and low are sticking around into early next week. Overnight temperatures until then will be warmer this week too, ranging from the upper 50s to the mid 60s most mornings.
