SAN ANTONIO - Another big event happening this fiesta season is 'Fiesta on French'!Fiesta on French takes place on Saturday, April 20th, from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m.
From 6 p.m. to Midnight on Saturday, April 20, Fiesta on French will bring Mardi Gras fun to the San Antonio tradition. Fiesta on French takes place on Saturday, April 20th, from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. at 415 West French Place.
It’s a Mardi Gras celebration that's helping to raise money to support local nonprofits helping children with disabilities in need. Eventgoers are encouraged to dress up and come out to enjoy live New Orleans-style jazz, plenty of Cajun food, and good drinks.“It's something that we started for two reasons. One is to give back to our community and make a difference. And two, keep our social network going,” said Abe Juarez with Fiesta on French. "Our family is involved, our boys are involved, their friends, they all volunteer. It's just a great event.
This will be the third year for the event, and the Fiesta Commission will be out this year to evaluate it to become an official Fiesta event next year hopefully.
