In case you were wondering, Myrtle Rolader had 5 children who in turn had 11 of their own. She has 27 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

) - It was a big day Wednesday, June 12, 2024 for one woman visiting Gulf Shotes with her family. It was her birthday. Actually, June 10th was her birthday, but Wednesday was the celebration. And what a celebration it was as she turned 104 surrounded by family at their annual beach vacation.

Mom R has had quite the influence on her family, and she says her biggest message is to love one another and to give grace to God. Rolader gets that love right back. There were plenty of hugs to go around as she made her way through the crowd and for some of the youngest in the family, that was the best part.

“It feels absolutely amazing. You know, I love getting to talk with family, you know, coming together over something as special as this, it means a lot to me,” added great grandson, Jayden Newman.
