In anticipation of the show's premiere, Screen Rant interviewed Ella Purnell and Aaron Moten to discuss Fallout, how they turned to the games in order to get better informed of what to expect from their experiences, and how Nolan threw them "in the deep end" with their challenging action scenes. Aaron Moten: Yeah. I was told the same thing. I enjoyed at least getting to watch other people play. I know Ella was the same. I got to hop on Twitch and YouTube just to watch the players who had hours invested into it, but also to see the world and to see what certain environments would look like. Of course, with this amazing design team of our sets, Howard Cummings and his crew, every day was amazing for us. It was all so detailed and vast.

The next day — I worked so hard that day in 95-degree weather in New York summertime, I could barely walk the next day when I woke up. It was like my whole body was sore. I was thankful I only had a half day of shooting something a little lighter. But there's really no light days on a set like Fallout. But that was really exciting, really challenging. I guess also really rewarding, ultimately. It's like you learn more about yourself, your own endurance as an actor.

About Fallout Close Based on one of the greatest video game series of all time, Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. Two hundred years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind — and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them.

Fallout TV Series Trailer Reveals Vaults and MonstersFallout TV Series Trailer Reveals Vaults and MonstersThe recent trailers for the upcoming Fallout TV series have already shown many great things from the video games, but it still remains to be seen how many vaults the show will have. The vaults are just one of the many things the Fallout TV show needs in order to truly feel like a faithful adaptation of the Bethesda video games of the same name. The expansive lore in Fallout also means the Fallout series will need plenty of monsters to help further replicate the games' distinct, lived-in feel. While not much is known regarding the number of references to the games, the recent Fallout trailer has already shown enough footage of the vaults, which suggests they'll play a major role in the live-action adaptation
