Kelsey Asbille lies still in Don't Move
The latest trailer has been released for Don't Move. Starring Yellowstone's Kelsey Asbille, Don't Move is an upcoming Netflix horror thriller about a serial killer who injects a young woman with a substance that will make her paralyzed. This substance is time-delayed, however, so the lead must run and fight for her life before her body is set to shut down. In addition to Asbille, Don't Move features a leading cast including Finn Wittrock, Daniel Francis, and Dylan Beam.
What This Trailer Reveals About Don't Move Time And Sound Will Be Key Elements The Don't Move trailer incorporates several elements that will likely become central in Don't Move. For one, there is the element of time. Time comes into play in several ways within the trailer, most notably in the explanation of how the lead's 20-minute progression to paralysis works.
Sound itself also seems to be a crucial element in Don't Move. About halfway through the trailer is when the reveal that this drug also affects the voice is revealed. Whereas the clip begins with the protagonist's labored and audible breathing, the Don't Move trailer progresses to have less and less sound. The sounds that surround the otherwise-silent character are terrifying, including demonstrating the rushing torrent of a river, which will pose a threat to the lead.
Don't Move Is A Great Chance For Kelsey Asbille To Shine Asbille Gets A Chance At A Lead Role While I am compelled by multiple aspects of the Don't Move trailer, the factor that will make or break the film is the leading performance by Asbille. Asbille has shown her chops before by playing Monica Dutton in Yellowstone, but Don't Move is really her chance to break out into a leading film role, after largely being relegated to TV and background characters.
