K-9 Diana’s four paws enforced the laws with the Cuyahoga County’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force as a weapon in its fight to protect children and bust child pornographers.
CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office wished K-9 Diana “a paws-itively amazing retirement” after her hard work led to more than 229 arrests.Internet Crimes Against ChildrenDiana is a Black Lab who served as an electronic scent detection K-9 for ICAC since November of 2017.
Electronic scent detection dogs are trained to smell triphenylphosphine oxide, a chemical compound used in circuit boards, which help operate cell phones and computers.ICAC said Diana’s path to her career in crime fighting started on the streets.
