The Kansas City Chiefs lead the Baltimore Ravens in the second half of the NFL’s season opener — which was delayed by 20 minutes because of bad weather. Baltimore got on the board first to take a 7-0 lead after its initial drive of the game, but the Chiefs scored the game’s next 13 points. Derrick Henry, the Ravens’ newest addition in the backfield, started the scoring with a short touchdown run early in the first quarter.
Kansas City struck back with a Xavier Worthy touchdown run and then two field goals, the latter of which was created by a Ravens turnover on downs. The half ended with a Baltimore field goal that was the result of a Patrick Mahomes interception, who was picked off by Roquan Smith. The Ravens got the ball inside the 10-yard line but couldn’t get into the end zone before the end of the half.
