Thousands took part in Saturday morning's Run to Remember in honor of fallen Chicago police officers at Gold Star Memorial and Park near Soldier Field.

The Chicago Police Memorial Foundation honored fallen officers Saturday with its annual Run to Remember and a ceremony at Gold Star Memorial and Park.A Chicago Police helicopter buzzed over thousands of people who lined up early on Saturday morning to pound the pavement for a meaningful mission.

Saturday marked the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation's 20th annual Run to Remember, a day to honor fallen and catastrophically injured Chicago Police Officers..
