Summer is coming, and for cinephiles, that means the return of the Summer Movie Series at the Ohio Theatre.
The 55th CAPA Summer Movie Series is set to feature a slew of classic movies spanning the decades from the silent film era to the late 90s, plus cartoons, cult favorites, and live music.As is tradition, legendary organist Clark Wilson, now in his 33rd year as the series' featured organist will be at the keys of the Ohio Theatre's Mighty Morton organ for 30 minutes of pre-show entertainment before each film starts.
Fright Nite Friday with Fritz is making a return to the series as well on July 26 with a special screening of. While Fritz the Nite Owl will not be on site for the screening, fans will still be treated to the Nite Owl Theatre antics they know and love including Fritz's signature breaks, trivia, and retro commercials to match the era.
Also as part of the series, fans can get a behind the scenes tour of the Ohio Theatre complete with a light show and organ demonstration by Clark Wilson on four dates in July and August.
