Police were called to a Claudia Drive home at about 11:30 a.m. April 16 regarding a Brook Park man, 60, who was preventing a handicapped resident from leaving in her wheelchair.
BROOK PARK, Ohio – Police were called to Claudia Drive at about 11:30 a.m. April 16 regarding a Brook Park man, 60, who was preventing a handicapped neighbor from leaving her home in her wheelchair.
The man was blocking the end of a wheelchair ramp by standing in front of it. When police arrived, they asked the man to move out of the way. The man told police to say please.The victim’s daughter said the man, who lives next to the victim, had been acting in a threatening manner toward her mother on more than one occasion.
The victim’s daughter said the man once stared at her mother’s home from outside and gestured as if he were shooting an arrow at the house. On another occasion, the man, while standing in his front yard, stared at the victim while she was at the top of the handicapped ramp. He threw a shovel into the air and let it fall to the ground.
