Renton police “suspect foul play” in Hernandez’s disappearance. The Renton business owner who went missing in late February was found dead in Mexico.
“This is the worst possible outcome, and our hearts go out to Reyna’s family and friends,” said Investigations Commander Chandler Swain.According to the Renton Police Department , Reyna Hernandez, 54, left her home in the Renton Highlands on Feb. 26 to run errands. She never returned. Renton detectives were alerted to a Mexicali news article about an unidentified body found in a local cemetery on the Tijuana Highway on Friday. Investigators on the missing persons case contacted Mexican authorities and provided enough information to identify Hernandez.
