Crunchyroll has dropped the English subbed trailer for the highly-anticipated U.S. debut of Blue Lock the Movie - Episode Nagi.
The video highlights the origin story of fan-favorite character Seishirō Nagi, who was first introduced in Season 1, Episode 7 as part of Team V. Despite his laidback personality, he’s a naturally-gifted athlete who initially doesn’t have interest in becoming a professional soccer player. The film is currently scheduled to debut in U.S. theaters on June 28, 2024.
“‘That’s a hassle.’ That was second-year high schooler Nagi Seishiro’s favorite phrase as he lived his dull life. Until Mikage Reo, a classmate who dreamed of winning the World Cup, discovered Nagi’s hidden skill, inspiring him to play soccer and share his outstanding talent,” reads the synopsis. “One day, he receives an invitation to the mysterious BLUE LOCK Project. What awaits him there is an encounter with the finest strikers assembled from across the country.
