Thomas Burrell, president of the 20,000-member Black Farmers & Agriculturalists Association , will meet with hundreds of Black farmers and Black landowners on Monday, Nov. 13, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Dothan Civic Center.
“We believe this 40-page application is going to succeed in denying the African American community and what other money is left over will give it to other farming communities,” Burrell said.
