The 'Beetlejuice Beetlejuice' official teaser trailer arrived on Thursday (March 21).
star Jenna Ortega taking on the role of Astrid, the daughter of the iconic Lydia Deetz played by Winona Ryder, who is reprising her role. Catherine O’Hara is also returning as Delia Deetz, and the three generations of the Deetz family — Delia, Lydia and Astrid — are seen at a funeral at the start of the trailer.
“Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia’s life is turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid, discovers the mysterious model of the town in the attic and the portal to the Afterlife is accidentally opened,” the description of the Tim Burton-directed series reads, as is seen in the teaser clip when Michael Keaton’s Beetlejuice makes his grand entrance after Lydia finds the unearthed model.
