According to Union Springs Police, 18-year-old Delvin Tarver was shot in a parking lot after the Bullock County prom.

“On Saturday morning at approximately 12:45, there was a shooting in the parking lot of the CVS on Baskin Street,” said Lieutenant Gary Lewis. “Tarver was hit and succumbed to his injuries later at Baptist South in Montgomery.” “He’s like any other teenager, you know,” he said. “He hung out with the friends he had here and never seemed like he got into trouble or anything like that.”
