Victor Wembanyama still isn't ready to enter any bodybuilding contests. But the Spurs star center will go into his second season better prepared for physical play after bulking up a bit over the summer. The Spurs listed the gangly 20-year-old Frenchman at 235 pounds on their training camp roster, an increase of 5 pounds from his weight listed on the team's roster for its season finale in April.
'If you push him off his spot, he’s comfortable shooting the shots. Nobody is going to block his jump shot, obviously. But last year if he got pushed off, it was a tough fadeaway. Now he seems solid.' Said Jeremy Sochan, 'In the warmups we do some physical stuff, and he is definitely stronger. It's not a surprise with the way he works.
