Trump's claims that his Stormy Daniels discussions have presidential immunity might not hold up on appeal.
Donald Trump never raised his right to presidential immunity during key parts of his Stormy Daniels trial, a former federal prosecutor has said.Joyce Vance wrote that this is a 'strong argument' for Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg to defeat the former president's claim that his conviction should be overturned on presidential immunity grounds.
'Beyond that, the DA argues that the evidence they offered against Trump had nothing to do with his official duties as president, so there is nothing objectionable about their use of it.''These were private conversations that occurred inside the Oval Office,' she wrote.Vance is a liberal-leaning legal analyst who has been a frequent critic of the former president.
