Ribbee’s, the ribs-only restaurant from the owners of Goldee’s, got off to a rip-roaring start.
Here's the rub: Barbecue fanatics are flocking to Ribbee's in Fort Worth. After selling out at first, the pitmasters have found a way to smoke enough meat to have food through dinnertime.. Ribbee’s initially sold out of ribs early in the day, despite the hope that it would remain open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursdays through Sundays. White made a change within the first few days, adding another round of ribs on the rotisserie to feed his growing line of customers. White says he now has enough food to last through lunch and dinner.In a hurry? The trick is to go mid-afternoon. It’ll be speedier than at Goldee’s, the sibling restaurant with lines that can last several hours.
On March 1, 2024, the owners of Panther City BBQ in Fort Worth took ownership of the historic Bailey’s. Panther City pitmasters Ernest Morales and Chris Magallanesthat they weren’t looking to expand, but the purchase “fell in our lap.” Bailey’s was owned by its founding family for most of its life — until 2021,
