Two juvenile boys were killed in a shooting at an apartment complex on Jacksonville’s Northside early Sunday, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

Police said around 4:30 a.m., they responded to reports of a shooting at the Island Pointe Apartments on Island Point Drive. When they arrived, they found two juvenile boys suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.Both victims died at the scene, police said. According to JSO, the circumstances surrounding the incident are still unknown and under investigation. Police also said they believe this is an isolated incident and there is no additional threat to the community.
