The shooting deaths of Daniel Licea and Alberto Villanueva in Chicago Heights comes on the heels of another shooting of two men last week in the city.
Two Chicago Heights men were shot to death Saturday at the same location, with the homicides came two days after the shooting deaths of two other men in town. Separately, the Cook County medical examiner’s office reported the shooting death of a Chicago man Saturday in Lansing. Daniel Licea, 55, and Alberto Villanueva, 30, both of the 600 block of West 15th Place in Chicago Heights, were shot in the 250 block of West 10th Street, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Caleb Trotter, 23, of the 800 block of Latimer Lane in Flossmoor, and 51-year-old Rolando Strong, of the 500 block of Andover Street in Chicago Heights, were shot in the head Thursday in the 500 block of West 14th Street in Chicago Heights, according to the medical examiner’s office. Trotter was pronounced dead shortly before 11:30 p.m. Thursday at Franciscan Health Olympia Fields Hospital, and Strong was pronounced at 12:06 a.m.
