Now is not the time to start pointing fingers following the controversial disqualification of national shot putter Muhammad Ziyad Zolkefli at the Tokyo Paralympics, said chef de mission Megat D Shahriman Zaharudin.
He said the Malaysian contingent took joint responsibility and shared equal burden of Ziyad’s disqualification in the men’s shot put F20 category, which resulted in him missing out on the gold medal, at the Olympic Stadium on Aug 31.
The truth is all these sports officials are just there for vacation, on rakyat's money.
Of course it is. CDM must bear full responsibility for this fiasco.
So when is the time ? Who will be held accountable ? What went wrong ?

Important was the core issue - Why was he late? Who is responsible to alert him?
If you still need to investigate what happened, you will never know. The rakyat funded the trip and have a right to know where it went wrong and why it will not happen again.
Then why the hell were you guys pointing fingers at Ukraine?
Before this, point to Ukraine. After everyone know tfat it was our own sport official negligence, then it’s not time to point fingers! Maybe they want the middle fingers!

It’s time to be accountable - officials were supposed to manage, oversee & guide the athletes. The officials need to answer / explain & the blunder to the rakyat, especially to the taxpayers & take ownership of the mess created.
