The remains are believed to be of a five-year-old girl and were found in a jungle area which police say is connected to the Bukit Putus murder.
"The forensic and pathology teams are now probing to establish this,” he told reporters when met at the scene near Taman Bukit Zamrud. The teenager is the daughter of the elder brother and it is learnt that the murder victim was also related to the trio. One of the suspects has a criminal record dating back to 2011 and was sentenced under Section 201 of the Penal Code for disposing of a body.
