The Women, Family and Community Development Ministry has refuted an article on a rise in domestic violence recorded via the ministry’s helpline, "Talian Kasih".

“KPWKM wishes to stress that the percentage increase in calls covers all categories including cases on Covid-19, Welfare Department aid reference, counselling and others. According to the statement, all parties have been told to refer to verified sources and obtain the ministry’s explanation before making any statements via any communication channels.
