I am not sure if vernacular schools are protected by the Federal Constitution. I shall leave it to judges and constitutional experts to decide on this.
I am referring to the call by a PAS politician to shut down vernacular schools and that Mandarin should never be allowed to become the second language in this country. We have hundreds of factors causing disunity in this country, but somehow the factor that stands out must be the existence of vernacular schools.
Only in Malaysia! Just drink Soup Buntut and smile.
Learning other languages is not an issue, but learning in a segregated enviroment based on racial line from the young age is the real prob.
Its the failure of the past n present govt especially in education
Some people wants everyone to be dumb dumb like everyone else.
Only when there are vile irrelevant thick-skins whose significance relies on insulting human intelligence and dignity with race and religious fallacies.
Vernakular schools is the root of the problem
Because IT IS. Even the independence commission and d British colonial MPs had also acknowledged the need for a single national education system to unite all Malaysians. Immigrants can’t have it all. Malaysia ought to be your ‘motherland’ if u want to continue be a citizen here.
Ketuanan ini itu YANG memecahkan rakyat, INI PUNCANNYA walaupun xde skolah vernacular...bodoh x faham punca....yg kita dari skolah nasional pun bleh nampak bagaimana sistem bumiputera dan ketuanan memecahkan kita....
Make mother tongue a compulsory subject and let all children mix since std 1, problem solved, hell make it compulsory to study 3 languages, a more all rounded student.
Wanna ban international schools in Malaysia too? The real culprits r actually those politicians..think deeper pls
For those who have the difficulty to learn other language would have that thought! In the other world, less capability.
Only to those morons would think so..
It's simply genocide by other means.
Tak bercampur dan bermain dengan bangsa lain, membawa kepada perpecahan masyarakat.
Out of topic. The real problem is how lack those who called themselves as Malaysians, but unable to talk, write & using standard national language remarkably & fluently. You wanna learn 20 languages, go on but if you still unable to speak in national language, there's your problem
When? When you’re insecure and have low confidence.
So much noises yet it is the vernacular schools produce competitive & marketable graduates while standard of education of national schools fell! Reform national schools & bring up standards then only talk about vernacular schools. Don’t destroy strength before fix the weaknesses!
Coz these low-class anal fools want to remain jaguh kampung forever.
Belajar sesuatu bahasa dgn belajar dlm sesuatu bahasa adalah dua yg berbeza. Siapa kita yg pernah bunuh bahasa inggeris? Siapa pula yg mengatakan sjk satu2nys punca polarisasi kaum? Tak perlu jadi pakar sejarah utk baca & faham laporan barnes, fenn-wu dan penyata razak 1956.
Do vernacular schools & any form of specialized edu fields teach divisions or is it the prejudices of politicians who pass illogical disunity judgements? For instance, is a doctor disunited from an engineer or any others from other vocations? maszlee TeoNieChing drwanazizah
it is ok if everyone involved.. make it compulsory as bahasa melayu
Whats wrong to be like Singapore lah. 1 system 1 language 1 syllabus for all races with extra language classes FOR ALL maa? Dont play that old politics to get race votes. Aiyaa.
Tak jugak...di german pun ada international school mcm kat malaysia. International school semua nya dalam bahasa english atau bahasa bahasa lain.
Because when you live in Germany you must learn all subject in German . However you can still learn Mandarin language
Why do we need different schools to learn different languages? National schools do offer Mandarin and Tamil options.
