Sleeping is the special privilege n entitlement of current Administration..Sleep away the country's fate to nowhere..Masa nk lemas nnti..semua kelam kabut dn menjerit2 memanggil nama Tuhan utk diselamatkn..Baik sedar skrg drp sesal kemudian.. We just love to criticise, never to improvise. Politicians should ask themselves what can they do to make a positive difference, not talk down, insult and blame others. Treat it as an honorable job, not a mud-slinging sport.

"Why must Hasni refer to news portals when he was in the House? Was he sleeping in the House? "Hasni can check Hansard before making any comments. Actually, falling asleep in the House is considered as being in contempt of the House," said Puad in a Facebook post on Saturday (April 23) afternoon. Earlier, Onn Hafiz proposed the appointment of Mohd Puad, 64, as State Assembly Speaker, which was seconded by Datuk Zahari Sarip (BN-Buloh Kasap), the state Agriculture, Agro-Based and Rural Development Committee chairman. The issue began after Hasni, in a Facebook post, criticised Puad over his speech as Johor Speaker on April 21. Datuk Samsolbari Jamali (BN-Semarang), 60, who is Umno Johor Liaison secretary, was appointed as Deputy Speaker. Puad was quoted as reminding Johor assemblymen not to treat the sittings like a"sangkar beruk" (monkey cage) and place the people's interest first. Barisan Nasional managed to recapture Johor with a landslide victory in the state election last month by winning 40 out of the 56 seats, with UMNO securing 33 seats, MCA (four) and MIC (three), while Pakatan Harapan won 11 seats, Perikatan Nasional (three), and PKR and Ikatan Demokratik Malaysia (MUDA) secured one each. "Do not defile this honourable House with a bad attitude. "The buses will pick up passengers at Jalan Tun Abdul Razak (City Square) and at Jalan Jim Quee before dropping them off at the BSI every 10 minutes," said Onn Hafiz.

This is the honourable House, not a 'sangkar beruk'," the Rengit assemblyman had said. In response, Hasni, on Friday (April 22), said Puad shouldn't have used such words, as it is not befitting of a Johor state assembly Speaker. "As a speaker and an assemblyman, he should have given a guarantee and prioritised action plans to strengthen the state's democratic institutions in the shortest time frame. "In the context of his position, political reforms, strengthening the people's trust in democratic institutions and politicians are more important than playing up such 'derogatory' statements," said the Benut assemblyman, who also attached several screenshots of news articles in his post. Meanwhile, Puad, in the same post on Saturday, said he was merely echoing the reminder given by Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar in his decree during the opening of the state assembly meeting in August last year. "They need more time due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

"Tuanku decreed 'Do not defile this house with bad attitude. This honourable house is not a 'sangkar beruk' (monkey cage). "Are gentle reminders on good advice considered derogatory?" Puad asked. Puad was appointed as the new Johor Speaker on Thursday (April 21). Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi said the 64-year-old's name was the only one proposed as state speaker.
