PETALING JAYA: Public transport drivers in Sabah have complained that some e-hailing operators in the state are not following the set rules, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

"A meeting with the taxi associations across Sabah was conducted Sunday afternoon to hear the views and complaints of drivers there.

"Several issues were raised during the dialogue, including complaints from e-hailing drivers in Sandakan on e-hailing operators not adhering to the rules set by the government," said the Transport Minister in a Facebook post. Dr Wee said that licence renewal and application, as well as vehicle inspection by Puspakom, should be streamlined so as to not make it complicated for both e-hailing and taxi drivers.
