NSTworld Watch: Hong Kong taxi driver beaten to a pulp after ramming vehicle into protesters

The unnamed taxi driver, who was trapped by the crowd, rammed his car into protesters and knocked them down, leaving at least two in need of medical care.

It is not known why the taxi driver ploughed his vehicle into the crowd, although many claim the man was ‘pro-Beijing’.
