The police are the enforcers of our laws and regulations but they also have a compassionate side.

The cops at the Subang Jaya district headquarters in USJ8 and the Bukit Puchong Police station showed this when they set up a food bank at the respective premises where those in need could take what they needed.

“We want this to continue within communities and be better monitored. After speaking with Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Arjunaidi Mohamed, this idea was implemented at the two stations. “The details of the beneficiary will also be noted so that we can monitor their family situation. In case the family is still in dire need of continuous aid, we will channel their details to the Selangor Islamic Religious Council and Zakat Selangor,” said ACP Abd Khalid.
