PETALING JAYA: Kementerian Pendidikan hari ini mengumumkan pelantikan Prof Mohamed Ridza Wahidin sebagai naib canselor Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia baharu berkuat kuasa 23 Sept 2019 hingga 22 Sept 2022.Jabatan Pendidikan Tinggi berkata pelantikan itu berdasarkan kepada kepakaran, pengetahuan, pengalaman dan pencapaian beliau semasa menjadi timbalan rektor di Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia dan jawatan sebelumnya.
“Pelantikan ini dibuat berdasarkan syor Jawatankuasa Tetap Pemilihan Naib Canselor Universiti Awam yang bersidang pada 27 Ogos 2019,” katanya dalam kenyataan. Berasal dari Selangor, Ridza, 57, pernah dilantik sebagai dekan di Research Management Centre UIAM dan Office of Corporate Strategy and Quality Assurance.
