Jempol OCPD Supt Hoo Chang Hook said Alif Haziq Anuar, a student at Universiti Teknologi Mara in Melaka, died this morning due to severe abdominal injuries.
"Based on a preliminary probe, the deceased had tried to overtake a car driven by a 22-year-old woman who was about to make a right turn.
