THE National Union of Flight Attendants Malaysia has called for an investigation into Malindo Airways Sdn Bhd’s massive downsizing of its workforce, which led to 2,000 airline staff becoming redundant. “Nufam is recommending a probe to determine whether there were any discrepancies in the layoff of Malindo Air staff,” the union’s deputy secretary Shashi Kumar said in a statement today.
