Defending Asean Football Federation Under-19 champions Malaysia have qualified for the semi-finals despite losing to Thailand 1-0 at the Thanh Long Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City.

Cambodia finished fourth with six points with Thailand in fifth spot with five points and Singapore bottom with four points. Thailand had a chance to open accounts in the dying minutes of the first-half but Thana Isor, who had the easiest task of tapping the ball into an empty net, muffed his attempt by scooping the ball over the bar.
