UN rights deputy calls for urgent action on Rohingya crisis

A UNITED Nations human rights official yesterday urged Myanmar to take “urgent action” against the statelessness of Rohingya, Anadolu Agency reported. Speaking at the 41st session of the UN Human Rights Council, Kate Gilmore, UN deputy high commissioner for human rights, said the Myanmar government should provide the necessary environment for the return of Rohingya.
