Mohamed Khaled Nordin says the government has not outlined any strategy to distribute the nation’s wealth fairly.

PETALING JAYA: An Umno vice-president today questioned the ambiguity revolving around the “shared prosperity” model espoused by Putrajaya, noting that until now, the government has not outlined a strategy to distribute the nation’s wealth fairly.

While he praised the model’s objective to make Malaysia a leading economy in Asia, Khaled lamented the lack of a specific plan to explain how Putrajaya intended to do so. Khaled said that during Mahathir’s first stint as the prime minister, he pushed for a laissez-faire economy, trickle-down economic policies as well as privatisation.“I am sure the rakyat would like to know the government’s plan to address this gap,” he said.

As long as it goes back to the Rakyat and not into personal bank accounts of kleptocrats or cronies that will be great. Free press, speech and judiciary is a must along with protection for whistleblowers. Rakyat M’sia, we must take charge and must request for these freedoms.

This guy know nuts....During Umno do you have the outline? If you do then its called 'dedak'

🤣🤣🤣

Under Mahatirism, nation's wealth is to be distributed via Corps and GLCs and not direct to the people. The idea is, if Corps and GLCs are prosper, then the people should, logically prosper, too. He's running the nation's finance & economy using corporate approach.
