Umno supreme council 'disappointed' over Najib’s Court of Appeal decision

PETALING JAYA: The Umno supreme council expresses its"disappointment" in the decision of the Court of Appeal in Kuala Lumpur to uphold former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s conviction for misappropriating RM42mil from SRC International Sdn Bhd.

Ahmad Maslan said these were among the decisions of the supreme council following a meeting chaired by Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi on Wednesday night . "Umno believes that the judiciary system has to always uphold the highest principles of justice," said the statement.
