SEREMBAN: Kebangkitan semula UMNO ketika ini selepas mengalami kekalahan dalam pilihan raya umum lalu bukan kerana ‘ubatan mujarab’ dari Pas.
“Tetapi kerana dukungan orang Melayu terhadap UMNO dan kerana buruknya prestasi kerajaan PH dan PN,” kata beliau dalam kenyataan hari ini. Dalam pada itu, tegas Mohamad, tanpa UMNO, Pas juga tidak boleh menjadi sebahagian daripada kerajaan Persekutuan hari ini. Sementara itu, Mohamad yang juga Pengarah Pilihan Raya Negeri Johor, BN menegaskan, pilihan raya itu diadakan atas pelbagai sebab strategik dan bukan kerana ia kehendak ‘kluster’ tertentu dalam UMNO.
