Ahli Parlimen Alor Gajah Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan Md Yusof mengesahkan perkara itu seperti yang dibincangkan dalam mesyuarat Ahli Parlimen Bersatu di Yayasan Al Bukhary pada pagi hari ini.
“Tun tidak menghalang, dia berkali-kali dalam kenyataan mengatakan tiada halangan ,” katanya ketika ditemui di kediaman Muhyiddin di Bukit Damansara, Kuala Lumpur malam ini. Ditanya tindakan Dr Mahathir keluar awal daripada mesyuarat itu, Mohd Redzuan berkata, pandangan itu diambil secara negatif oleh pihak luar.“Mohon supaya perkara ini tidak dibincang lagi dan lagi,” katanya.
