PETALING JAYA: Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong visited the Bintulu Port Authority (BPA) on Saturday (Dec 4).

"I heard a briefing on the performance, future direction and development plan for the Port of Bintulu from BPA general manager Mizool Amir Bin Mat Derus and Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad chief executive officer Datuk Medan Abdullah," said Dr Wee.

He added in a Facebook post on his official account that he was impressed with the performance of Bintulu Port as the world's biggest palm oil and liquefied natural gas terminal. "I see the potential of Bintulu Port to improve its capacity for containers and LNG as well as becoming a carbon neutral, green port. Congratulations to BPA," said Dr Wee in the post.
