The arrival of tourists to Langkawi Island has brought a new ray of hope to the island’s tourism operators and small traders.

Yesterday, about 3,200 tourists arrived in Langkawi, also known as the Jewel of Kedah, and many more are arriving today following the reopening of the tourism industry under the travel bubble initiative beginning yesterday.

We are happy for the tourism industry but its puzzling.. Where do M'sians get the money to afford holidays (epf withdrawal scheme or along ?) when there were WHITE FLAGS flying around not too long ago. Credit cards Flashing ? And Mr. Covid-19 is still in 5 BIG FIGURES.
