Telekom Malaysia has announced that its Unifi TV service has been disrupted nationwide since yesterday evening at 9.50pm. According to the official statement, the service disruption was caused by a fire that affected their Uninterruptible Power Supply equipment at TM’s IT Complex in Cyberjaya.
According to the broadband provider, they are working tirelessly with their contractors and engineering teams to restore the service. It aims to complete power restoration by 12 noon and to restore Unifi TV services later by 3.00pm today. It is estimated that 300,000 Unifi TV users are affected by the interruption. TM has noted that other TM and Unifi services are not affected by the incident.
