Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri, Datuk Safar Untong berkata langkah berkenaan adalah sebagai usaha membendung penularan wabak Covid-19 di negeri berkenaan.
“Bagaimanapun, kerajaan negeri bakal membuat pengumuman rasmi mengenainya termasuklah berkaitan prosedur operasi standard membabitkan waktu operasi setiap aktiviti yang ingin dijalankan di negeri ini,” katanya. Turut hadir Pengarah Kesihatan Negeri, Datuk Dr Christina Rundi dan Pengarah Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam Sabah, Datuk Datu Rosmadi Datu Sulai.
Semua barangan perubatan terbabit dihantar menggunakan pesawat khas Airbus A400 dari Skuadron 22 milik Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia Subang.
