PETALING JAYA: It’s been almost a year since shuttler M. Thinaah made the switch from singles to doubles.

It has been a brilliant move for the 22-year-old whose partnership with Pearly Tan Koong Le has blossomed into one the best three pairs in the country in just 10 months.

Thinaah opted to give the doubles a shot after having little success in the singles despite being the national champion in 2017. Instead, her career started going downhill. Thinaah can’t wait for the movement control order to be lifted so she cane resume the progress she has made and continue from where they left off at the Asia Team Championships in Manila two months ago.
