TERENGGANU Menteri Besar Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar has urged Putrajaya to increase the scope of local contractors’ involvement in the East Coast Rail Link from 40% to 50%. He said the state government welcomes the announcement on the project’s revival, but the 40% quota set for local contractors is insufficient to mobilise Terengganu’s economy.
