Both Zolkifly and Bersatu Bertam assemblyman Khaliq Mehtab Mohd Ishaq are expected to be sitting with the Opposition in the state assembly.Both the assemblymen pledged their support for the state government when Bersatu quit Pakatan Harapan in February. Under the state's anti-hopping law spelt out in Article 14 of the Constitution of the State of Penang Enactment 2012, both the representatives would have to give up their seats.
