Telcos striving to overcome problem of slowing internet in housing areas

Saturday, 04 Apr 2020 08:17 PM MYTKUANTAN, April 4 — All 13 telecommunications companies in the country are working to improve internet access in housing areas experiencing slow service during the Movement Control Order period, said Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah.

“They are trying to ensure there is no crash in terms of access and to redeploy the three components for better weightage in housing areas so that internet access can be maintained,” he said. “This is not a good figure as we are in the midst of tackling the Covid-19 issue. Every day, our ministry’s swift response team also has to deny five or six cases of fake news going viral on social media,” he said.

Was improving Price came down Sheraton Move During Covid 19 emergency PN Govt Formed by Betrayers Of PH that was Voted By Citizens to Oust Umno With Umno Who this Betrayers Once Called Pencuri Perasuah & Penyamun Ask to Stay Home Than Came Slow Internet!

It is slow since forever, Me Minister

Then do something, u are the minister

Nothing tests an ISPs capacity better than a MCO. At least maybe GobindSinghDeo realises too late that the real issue when he was Minister that oversubscribed service above capacity is the real reason behind slow internet besides legacy infrastructure and cost of internet.

imfsea_aruna

imfsea_aruna bull shit... they knew it was coming...they should have prepared for it!! Unifi is speed capping in residential areas.. what action are you going to take?

It has never been fast. My experience, Spore and Indon are far ahead with speed.

Big lie as far as unifi is concerned. I dare unifi to contact me. I can prove a case of fraud by unifi. Also your life chat ppl more so one Siti is not qualified to be where she is. I'm waiting for MCO to make police report against unifi

you need to strive as well.

3rd world country. 3rd world infrastructure. 3rd world mentality. Guess why.

Since when it was fast? How many 5G spots? How is the coverage for 4G? Telcos always say “best effort basis”. Even if they are not doing anything, its still best effort basis. No improvement! How many years its been?

This is YOUR making! Everything points to the Sheraton Move. That's the cause of what ails the nation and the sufferings of all Msians. The legitimate PH govt was running the country in the best manner possible, but you bunch of traitors betrayed Msians and ruined everything.

Oooh yes its slow and hangs alot..... saifuddinabd
