Menerusi satu kenyataan hari ini, Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur memaklumkan langkah itu diambil bagi mencegah penularan wabak Covid-19 di taman awam terbabit yang merekodkan kehadiran pengunjung yang ramai.
Jelas beliau, keputusan dibuat hasil mesyuarat pusat pengurusan krisis semalam selepas mendapati kadar pematuhan yang rendah terhadap prosedur operasi standard oleh pengunjung. Nor Hisham berkata, pemantauan akan diteruskan untuk 15 lagi taman awam seliaan DBKL bagi melihat sejauh mana pengunjung patuh kepada SOP ditetapkan.
Susulan pelaksanaan Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Bersyarat sejak 5 Mei lalu, beberapa aktiviti luar mula dibenarkan antaranya joging sendirian di taman awam. Menerusi kaedah imbasan kod QR di telefon pintar, sistem itu menurut beliau membolehkan data pengunjung premis perniagaan diselaras dibawah satu aplikasi.
