Kiang and Lin leading the Taiwan Trade Mission consisting of 21 Taiwanese companies to Malaysia. This is the first overseas sales promotion event of its kind since the pandemic lockdown was lifted.: Taiwan aims to cooperate with Malaysia in smart tech-related industries such as information and communication, 5G, Artificial Intelligence of Things and medical care, as well as green technology, according to Taiwanese Ministry of Economic Affairs director-general Cynthia Kiang.

“The delegation will explore business cooperation opportunities in Malaysia. Direct cooperative relationships with their counterparts in the field of smart industry will drive their industries to deeper cooperation. We will continue to set up a variety of Taiwanese industry image galleries and special areas based on Malaysia’s government policies and industrial development needs,” she said.

Luckyear Microelectronics Corp chairman Lucky Lin Ming Jen said the company is looking for a local distributor for its products in the cold chain business unit. It also has the technology to maintain a temperature of up to -80ºC, to retain the integrity of the food tissue and cell activity, which keeps frozen goods fresh and in good quality.
