Syamsul Yusof's mum wants Puteri Sarah to be happy: 'You have suffered enough'

Director Syamsul Yusof’s mother, Datin Patimah Ismail, says she supports her daughter-in-law Puteri Sarah Liyana’s decision to file for a divorce from Syamsul.She wrote in her Insta-story on Wednesday : “Mama just want Sarah to be happy, you have suffered enough.”

“To my daughter: I wish you strength to face the challenges with confidence along with the wisdom to choose your battles carefully.“Listen to your heart and take risks carefully. Remember how much you are loved. I am so proud of you. Love, Mum.” According to a report by Bernama, the 37-year-old actress said she intended to divorce her husband on the grounds that there was no more understanding between them and that they could no longer live together as husband and wife.

Her filing for divorce comes 10 days after Syamsul, 38, announced on Instagram that he married actress Ira Kazar, 27, in Thailand, and that she is his second wife.
